In-Service Training
Classes begin at 0800 hours on the first scheduled day, unless otherwise noted. Always wear your uniform to class and bring your ID. For more information click on the tabs to the left. For a downloadable copy of the latest schedule please click here .

Participants should have a good understanding of computers and be self motivated. Please click on the appropriate training schedule tab on the left to see a list of available classes.To reserve a space in a class click on the "Make Reservation" tab on the left. Traditional Training Schedule
In additional to mandated classe, Wake Tech offiers other essential classes of interest to the correctional employee, supervisor, or manager. To view these classes click here or click on the "Specialized Training Topics" tab on the left.
Registration
All Department of Correction employees may receive training credit through their agency by submitting an OSDT-2 form requesting training credit prior to the begin date of any class.
To be eligible for training credits through the Department of Correction follow the Instructions below:
Complete the OSDT-2 form, forward through your chain of command. Upon approval the OSDT-2 will be forwarded to the Office of Staff Development and Training. Upon completion of your training course you must complete the OSDT-29A-Training Evaluation Form to update your training record. This form can be completed in a word document and emailed or completed in the online format.

Note: In order to complete the OSDT-29A an approved OSDT-2 must have been completed and received by the Office of Staff Development and Training.
